In celebration of the grand opening of the Hong Kong Palace Museum in 2022, we were honoured to receive incredible support from numerous Hong Kong collectors and artists who donated important works of art. Their generosity helped lay the foundation for the Museum’s growing collection.
“The Hong Kong Palace Museum Collections and Collectors Talk Series” is designed to illuminate the fascinating stories behind the acts of collecting and creative journeys of the donors. Through engaging conversations between our HKPM experts and the donors, these talks will provide insight into the aesthetic, historical and cultural significance of the treasures within the collection.
This talk series accompanies the thematic exhibition, “Passion for Collecting: Founding Donations to the Hong Kong Palace Museum”, currently on view in Gallery 6.
