Free guided tours of specific thematic exhibitions (Gallery 1 to 7) are available for visitors. For further details of the schedule and registration, please proceed to the G/F Information on the day of visit. The registration is on a first come, first served basis. Schedules are subject to change and cancellation without prior notice.

Special Exhibitions

Paid guided tour for special exhibitions Gallery 9 is available for visitors. Visitors will be led by the docents to highlight key features of the specific exhibition. The tour takes about 45–60 minutes and available on a first come, first served basis.

HKPM Friends and HKPM Patrons are required to purchase a guided tour ticket for the Gallery 9 special exhibition to join the tour (HK$200 per member^{^}). Participants must present a guided tour ticket and a valid Gallery 9 special exhibition admission code on the event date (the admission code is not included in the guided tour ticket).

Remark:
^# Concessions include children (age 7 to 11), full-time students, seniors (age 60 and above), persons with disabilities (with one companion), and CSSA recipients. Entry is free for children aged 6 and under (online booking and a valid Special Exhibition ticket or pass must be presented for admission to the Museum).
^{^} From 18 February to 17 March 2025, HKPM Friends and HKPM Patrons can purchase guided tour tickets for the Gallery 9 special exhibition using promo code for HK$160 per member. This offer is subject to terms and conditions.

Group Guided Tour

Visitors will be led by docent from the Museum to participate in a 60 to 90-minute paid exclusive guided tour. Through interactions with docent and other participants, visitors can learn more about the historical, cultural, and artistic features of the treasures displayed in the Museum. For ticket purchase or enquiries about the guided tour service for groups, please fill in the online application form or call (852) 2200-5577 during 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

Special Guided Tour

Each tour is priced at HK$9,000, accommodating up to four people. The fee includes the following VIP privileges:

A 60 to 90-minute guided tour by a docent, with access to up to three selected galleries
Unlimited free admission to all exhibitions (Gallery 1 to Gallery 9)
