Once the guided tour is confirmed, it cannot be exchanged, nor payment be refunded.
The Guide Tour Confirmation must be presented on the date of the visit.
Participants / the group should arrive at the Information Counter (G/F) before 15 minutes. HKPM reserves the right to cancel the guided tour and other services if participant(s) / the group is more than 15 minutes late as per scheduled.
The starting time of the tour is fixed and latecomers will not be entertained. No refund or compensation will be provided for latecomers.
Items larger than 55cm x 35cm x 20cm, including bags, boxes, and luggage, and any long umbrellas, folding chairs, and stools will not be permitted in the Museum. Special size restriction on baggage may apply to particular exhibition or venue.
Participants can continue self-visit other galleries after the guided tour ended.
Inclement weather arrangements:
Red or Amber Rainstorm Warning / Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3:
If it is hoisted during the Museum operating hours, the tour will be continued as usual.
Black Rainstorm Warning / Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above:
If it is hoisted during the Museum operating hours, the tour will be cancelled and rescheduled.
The Museum will re-open three hours after the signal is lowered, the tour will remain cancelled and rescheduled.
Tour will be rescheduled by HKPM to another date within 60 days from the original date of the visit and please contact us within 14 days for reschedule. No cancellation or refund will be arranged.

Hong Kong Palace Museum is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 10:00 am–6:00 pm; Fridays, Saturdays, and Public Holidays from 10:00 am–8:00 pm; Tuesdays (except Public Holidays), the first two days of Lunar New Year or specific date is close.
