Prof. Anna CY Chan

Dean (Dance), The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts 

Prof. Anna CY Chan, a seasoned and practising arts educator, performer, producer, curator and administrator. She is currently the Dean of the School of Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.   

Prof. Chan was the Head of Dance, Performing Arts of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority from 2014 to 2018. During her tenure, she was responsible for shaping the District’s artistic direction and strategies for dance. Under her leadership, a series of programmes were launched or co-presented, offering Hong Kong artists a platform to explore innovative forms of creating and performing with international artists.  

Ms Karen Chan Ka-yin, JP

Executive Director of German Pool Group Company Ltd, and Founder and Creative Director of Sparkle Collection 

Prof. Karen Chan Ka-yin is currently the Executive Director of German Pool Group Company Limited, and Founder and Creative Director of the Sparkle Collection brand. She is responsible for the entire business development and marketing of the three brands of the group, including German Pool, Sparkle Collection, and Happy Kitchen Café & Bar, establishing “German Pool” as a market-leading household name.

Under Prof. Chan’s leadership, Sparkle Collection has won numerous accolades in the cultural and art arena. It was the first qipao brand to be awarded the “Hong Kong Top Brand Award” and was invited to participate in Hong Kong Fashion Week – CENTRESTAGE five years in a row. It has also appeared in Milan Fashion Week twice in a row, as well as Los Angeles Fashion Week, Shanghai Chic Fashion Week, Denim Première Vision in Berlin, and Haw Par Heritage Fashion Show.

Dr Daisy Yiyou Wang

Deputy Director, Hong Kong Palace Museum 

Dr Daisy Yiyou Wang leads the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s curation, research, exhibition planning and management, collection, conservation, publication, design, and learning programmes. Under the leadership of Dr Louis Ng and Dr Wang, the Museum team has collaborated with the Palace Museum to ensure the timely and successful delivery of nine high-quality opening exhibitions as well as the safety of over 1,000 priceless treasures from the Palace Museum, the Louvre Museum, and Hong Kong collections.  

Dr Wang has served as Chinese Art Specialist at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art and Curator of Chinese and East Asian Art at the Peabody Essex Museum. A specialist of the history of art collecting, Ming lacquer, and Qing imperial portraiture and textile, Dr Wang has published internationally and received numerous awards, including a Getty Museum Leadership Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Humanities grant, and a Smithsonian Scholarly Studies Award. 

Mrs Christine Ip

CEO - Greater China and Head of Group Strategic Communications and Brand, UOB

Mrs Christine Ip is the Managing Director and Head of Group Strategic Communications and Brand; and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Greater China, UOB. She currently leads the brand, external and internal communications, social media and insights teams to raise the profile of the bank through an integrated communications approach. She also oversees the group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Art programme initiatives. 

As UOB’s CEO of Greater China, Christine also oversees the Bank’s business in Greater China covering markets in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She is also Non-Executive Director of UOB China.
