Qing emperors were enthusiastic collectors of artefacts and loved to store them in beautiful boxes called the “curio boxes”. This workshop offers participants the opportunity to create a new piece of artwork to add to their very own curio boxes. Participants will also get to learn about the museum’s diverse collections in the “Passion for Collecting: Founding Donation to the Hong Kong Palace Museum” exhibition through interactive games. Requiring no prior experience, this programme is suitable for children aged 5–12. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. No additional registration is needed for the accompanying adult. Each child will receive one set of materials and take away a piece of artwork.
