Lingnan Painting Workshop (Flowers and birds)

22.06.2024 & 06.07.2024

Lingnan painting emerged in the late Qing dynasty. Influenced by artistic trends in the West and the revolutionary spirit in China, its innovative style features bright colours and varied brushwork. This workshop is inspired by the Lingnan paintings displayed in Gallery 6 “Passion for Collecting: Founding Donations to the Hong Kong Palace Museum” and themed with flowers and birds. Join us to express your inner thoughts through creativity!

This workshop includes:

  • An introduction to the history of Lingnan painting.
  • A demonstration of Lingnan painting techniques.
  • A hands-on session to create your own painting.

Please note:

  • The workshop is open to participants of all skill levels. No prior experience is required.
  • Exhibition ticket arrangement: This registration is for the captioned programme only. To visit our exhibitions, please click here.
