Lingnan painting emerged in the late Qing dynasty. Influenced by artistic trends in the West and the revolutionary spirit in China, its innovative style features bright colours and varied brushwork. This workshop is inspired by the Lingnan paintings displayed in Gallery 6 “Passion for Collecting: Founding Donations to the Hong Kong Palace Museum” and themed with flowers and birds.
