Kelvin Lau

Kelvin Lau graduated, summa cum laude, from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where he was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship to complete his music degree in jazz and contemporary singing. As one of the students selected to join Berklee’s Global Studies programme, Kelvin also studied and performed in Valencia, Spain. He was invited by the Hong Kong Palace Museum to perform as a vocalist in its HKPM Showtime Programme with jazz pianist Joyce Cheung as part of the Museum’s opening celebration in July 2022. He has also been a singer or vocal coach for many jingle productions of local and international brands, including Watsons Water, McDonald’s, Ocean Park, LINK, Häagen-Dazs, and Hong Kong Airlines. Kelvin is currently the Artistic Director of the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival and Music Director of Diocesan Girls’ Junior School.

Joyce Cheung

Joyce Cheung spent her formative years at Berklee College of Music, where she graduated with first honors in Film Scoring as well as Contemporary Writing and Production in 2014 and obtained her master’s degree in Contemporary Performance in 2017. Aside from her performing career, Joyce is also a passionate educator. She has been invited to conduct masterclasses and perform at the Musicians Education Festival, Prague. She also teaches the jazz programme at the Education University of Hong Kong. Joyce is a frequent collaborator with Hong Kong musicians, including Chan Fai Young, Joey Yung, Alfred Hui, On Chan, and the Grasshoppers. She has just released two albums, Jazzical Collection and Set Loose, under Ginger Muse, a recording label she co-founded that presents local instrumentalists on the global stage.

Wan Pin Chu

Wan Pin Chu is an international award-winning erhu musician and film composer from Hong Kong. He performed solo for President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China and Prince William of the United Kingdom in October 2015 during the Chinese state visit, and was invited to perform for Prince William again in his private event in July 2016. He also performed for the Thai Princess Rajadarasri Jayankura in February 2017. Apart from performing, Chu scored music for the feature film Immortal Demon Slayer in the same year. Susu, a movie fully scored by him, was nominated as the best movie in the 41st Montreal World Film Festival in Canada and the 8th Beijing International Film Festival. In 2018, he composed music for Kung Fu Monster, a feature film directed by Andrew Lau, and the epic game Asura.
