23 October: HKPhil Dim Sum Series: Introducing the Woodwind Family

Every woodwind instrument has its distinctive sound. The flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon each have their own personalities when performed individually but can also blend beautifully together as an ensemble. In this special presentation, the HK Phil woodwind ensemble will demonstrate their instruments′ versatility by performing a wide variety of music. Hands-on activities and visual projections will also help you visualise the beauty of woodwind music, making the listening experience ever more enjoyable.
