The Hong Kong Palace Museum is a major new cultural institution in Hong Kong. It is a place where historical and contemporary art meet, and where the cultures of China and other countries converge. In this talk, Dr Louis Ng, Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, shares his insights on the planning and implementation of this major cultural project, as well as strategies for its future growth. Dr Ng will highlight the Museum’s vision, its cultural significance, and the new curatorial approaches it is employing—driven by an international team of curators.
