Independent curator and Director of Art in Hospital and Community Art Network, Grace Cheng has been curating and presenting exhibitions and art projects that embrace a wide range of mediums across many fields and disciplines, including international projects, artist-in-residence programmes, exhibitions, and cultural research projects.

Mr Gaybird Leung

Artist

GayBird is a composer and multidisciplinary artist who excels at using technology, media art, space, and sound in his creations. Since 1996, his works and sound installations have been exhibited at art festivals around the world, receiving numerous awards.

Ms Phoebe Hui

Artist

Phoebe Hui is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher whose work navigates the relationship between language, sound, and technology. Her recent projects rely on multidisciplinary ideas drawn from the philosophy of science, system aesthetics, and machine learning. Hui has received several international awards. Her works have been exhibited at major museums and art festivals around the world. One of her recent art installations, The Moon Is Leaving Us, was the winning submission at the 5th Audemars Piguet Art Commission.

Mr Joseph Chan

Artist

Joseph Chan is a kinetic artist. He believes “strange machines” are more mechanical, unlike those that are used daily, and in tune with our intuitive impressions of machinery. His oeuvre, heavily influenced by Hong Kong’s multi-culturalism, lies within the realms of engineering, science, and art. Chan’s works aim to reveal the inner workings of the “machine” by presenting and emphasising its design and operations.
