Featuring six new multimedia installations, the exhibition “No Boundaries: Reinterpreting Palace Museum Culture” in Gallery 7 of the Hong Kong Palace Museum looks at traditional culture through a contemporary lens.
Grace Cheng, guest curator of this exhibition, will share with the audience the theme and concept of the exhibition. Three Hong Kong artists who are part of the exhibition, Gaybird Leung, Phoebe Hui, and Joseph Chan, will share how they drew inspiration from the Palace Museum and made use of different mediums and technologies, such as images, sounds, mechanics, and interactive elements, to present the palace culture in a new light.
This talk accompanies the opening exhibition “No Boundaries: Reinterpreting Palace Museum Culture” in Gallery 7 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
