Participants will create ink paintings using different materials, expressing the flow of water vapor through rendering and rubbing and mastering the bleeding effects of different inks on paper before creating. The colours and composition of the painting can be adjusted according to participants’ experience with various techniques. It is put together through imagination based on the experimental results. No painting experience is required for participants to take part in this workshop. The artist will guide everyone and give participants the opportunity to experiment the Chinese ink, using non-traditional brushes, inks and mixed media to compose a contemporary ink painting.
