Blue-and-green landscape painting is a traditional technique with fine brushwork and mineral pigments. It can be divided into light blue-and-green and heavy blue-and-green. The former is thin and light in color, while the latter is heavy and colourful. Paintings using natural mineral pigments have been lasting for a long time. Painters nowadays use this traditional technique to develop their works on different subjects.
In this workshop, the technique of brushwork and coloring application will be taught through a light blue-and-green landscape painting. Participants will finish the painting with a decorative gold cardboard.
