Copperplate printing is one of the most significant icons that embody the early cultural exchange between China and the West. Some of the most representative copperplate prints developed by the Qing court are on display in the special exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: YUAN MING YUAN—Art and Culture of an Imperial Garden-Palace”. These include the prints of the Garden of Eternal Spring, which beautifully blend Chinese and Western painting styles, depicting scenes of European palaces and Chinese gardens. Immerse yourself in the process of printmaking and take home a collection of stunning prints of imperial garden palace landscapes of your making.
