Explore figure paintings of the Ming dynasty with your children and learn about Ming masters’ styles. Create your own by combining boundless imaginations with Chinese ink painting techniques.

This workshop includes:

An introduction to the lives and ideas of the people in the Ming dynasty through appreciating figure paintings from that time.
A demonstration of the painting techniques and styles of the Four Masters of the Ming dynasty: Wen Zhengming, Tang Yin, Qiu Ying, and Shen Zhou.
A hands-on session to create a figure painting that depicts aspects of everyday life.

Please note:

Requiring no prior experience, this programme is suitable for children aged 5–12. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. No additional registration is needed for the accompanying adult. Each child will receive one set of materials and take away a piece of artwork.
